There's a lot going on here; the subtleties, the overtones from just one note, the fat bass sound that pounds your chest and and that delicious mid range "grind," for lack of a better word, comparable to a Yamaha grand piano, that is the heart of a great guitar.
I hear sounds coming out of this I haven't heard from anything I've played before. It took whatever I could throw at it.
I can't even imagine what its going to sound like in five or ten years. Its so full of life now that when it ages it could turn into such a tone monster that it will scare the crap out of all the guitars in your collection.
I've played a few guitars from eric's collection and quickly discovered he has the ears that can ferret out the real gems. He's going to have to search far and wide to top this one!

Jeff, thanks for the review and thanks for the great recordings of the Kostal!
Jeff really is an awesome player and has had some pretty awesome guitars including a Ryan. He did me the favor of making some recordings of the guitar here. Great playing!
