Sadly, I was too young to see them pre-break up in 1982 (although I vaguely remember begging my family to see their farewell show at 10yo). But then I saw their reunion tour in 1989, which I heard Pete/Roger refer to as "Who On Ice" (b/c it was such an elaborate production and less of a rock concert) which was good... but nowhere near as good as the shows I've seen since then.

I saw them perform in the 90s, 2000s, and this decade as a threesome, and once since we lost The Ox in 2002. I would have LOVED to have seen Keith Moon, but Zak Starkey is a formidable drummer and a great fit (I also saw him perform live with Oasis), and the rest of the touring band (inc. the bass player and Pete's brother on backing guitar) really fit nicely into the mix and in line with what we see with other bands that have backing musicians. We can't bring Moon and Entwistle back, but Pete and Rog are still bringing great performances to the stage.
