These have indeed been discontinued by Radial. Frankly, I find it surprising that they didn't sell, or would still sell, a whole lot of them. Considering that so many players have multiple guitars of varying output levels, you would think they'd be all over these "level adjusters/switchers". Makes switching guitars a quick breeze - especially live.

The Bumper does not amplify but it can bring the levels of the louder guitars down to the level of the least loud one to have +- similar levels across the board. Not to mention that is routes 1 of up to 4 guitars to an amp, preamp or mixer etc. (No, you cannot route more than 1 at a time, if you're wondering...). Also, and another bonus, the "drag" function will brighten or darken the sound of passive pick ups.

Anyway, I just bought a new one on sale at $70 off and will be trying it out over the next while but it seems to me it'll be a good addition.
