Standard LB mini. The on/off switch has a positive snap/click.

Here's a thought: The outlet is on the same circuit (same wall) as an outdoor outlet on my deck. We just had some freezing rain. Is it possible that some of the ice melt made its way into the outlet, partially shorting the wires and energizing the neutral power lead?
