There's a screw clamp on one end, a long skinny gooseneck, and a friction-fitted gimbal on the other. If those are cheap junk, they'll go south in a hurry and you'll wind up using rubber bands and duct tape to get the dang thing to stay put.

Spend the extra bucks.
