I would only use a
pure sine wave inverter on anything electronic or with a motor. Modified sine wave inverters (like the Duracell) are fine for heaters and maybe some lights. I know some people get by using the cheaper inverters, but there are lots of issues (noise, vibration, reduced reliability/life, etc.) that I don't need to expose my Carvin to.
