I've been working on a couple of super-ergonomic guitars for a client.
Here's a look at what's been going on.
Here's how the guitar is intended to be held.
I'm actually making two different versions - mainly to examine the effect of sound-hole geometery on acoustics. This is the "K1".
This one is the K3.
Here's a look at the internal, integral bracing in the back.
The inside of the K1 front
The inside of the K3 front
A look at the actual K1, freshly machined, with lots of sanding to come.
Maple front, mahogany back, EIR binding.
And here's the K3
With any luck, I hope to have them both completely finished and singing in 2 to 3 weeks.
Stay tuned.
Thanks for taking a look!
Jeff
