The guitar that I had the longest was the 1972 Yamaha FG140? 160? - one of those. I traded it in towards my Martin M-38 that I purchased in 1992. If I would have known anything about a good set-up back then, I probably would have kept the Yamaha and it would be the longest I had owned a guitar at 47 years. I kept the Martin M-38 until I sold it in 2003 to help pay for my first custom Wingert. While I was enduring the almost 2-year wait, I bought a used Wingert 00 online in 2003. So of my current guitars:

The 2001 Wingert 00 is the guitar that I have had the longest at 16 years. It's a keeper and isn't going anywhere. As are my other 3 listed here.
Wingert E - 15 years
Alvarez parlor - 4 years
Kramer Prairie Grass - 3 months

Best,
Jayne
