We had a Twin Cities AGF Get-Together a few years ago and were fortunate to have a few local luthiers attend. I believe Drew brought 3 guitars to that event; a flat-top SJ, an OM, and a parlor. While all were really nice, the OM happened to be my favorite while others preferred the SJ. To me, the SJ that he brought seemed really nice for singer/songwriter type of stuff while the OM seemed a great match for solo instrumental stuff. I think it's about matching the instrument to the way you play, what you play, and how you like to hear it. Or maybe I was drawn to the OM partially because of the tonewoods used (BRW and Adi).
This build looks really nice so far!
