My 2013 Taylor 514e Fall Limited was built around curly Mahogany.
In the Fall edition of
Wood & Steel, Andy Powers said that one of their wood suppliers sent pictures of a tree that had been cut into, and had figuring. Taylor bought the tree, and used the wood for their Fall Limited series. Powers said it was a genetic anomaly, and that only a portion of the tree had figuring.
