Okay, received the bone saddle this afternoon...did the requisite sanding...used with the same strings to eliminate the new string super sound...and I do think it is louder a bit. Of course, I also made my saddle a touch taller to account for the under saddle transducer wire that I removed when I installed the K&K...which would also affect the sound volume. Anyway, so far, so good. And yes, my saddle is staying the white-bone color.
Macnichol Guitar must be wondering why the uptick in orders on this item.
