I treated myself to one of their 30th Anniversary models (10 years old) for xmas and it has a walnut neck and fingerboard. I have it out on a stand in my un-humidifed living room that had considerable humidity changes going from winter to summer, and I only noticed a very slight need to re-tune. So there is a bit of response to environmental change. It's definitely my go-to guitar to play outside now and also to play out as it feels very sturdy but has the easiest playing neck so I get no fatigue in my hand even with loooong jams.
