So similar to my story, except I have 6 years under my belt.
I took the plunge today. A buddy gave me a screaming deal on his (one owner) Ebony 2010 Les Paul Studio in Excellent Condition. I played several different iconic electrics. Always loved the LP, ever since the mid 70's when a friend had an original 58' gold top. After trying out a bunch I found that I really liked the sound, feel and playability of the LP.
Funny how these things work out. Back then I never thought about playing
guitar...now I have 3 acoustics, one electric, and a custom acoustic in the
works.
