Narrower in width, but deeper in depth. The MLO neck is much thicker in the upper frets where the Low Profile would get super shallow. It really depends on whether your hands prefer wider fingerboards with shallow depth, or narrower fingerboard tapers with deeper depth. Clearly, the market has spoken and favors the latter.
Martin is absolutely going to KILL IT with the 1 3/4 nut MLO/PA taper neck across its entire standard series line. You watch.
