Thanks for the very kind words guys; sorry not to upload this sooner, but I am rammed at work. I like a "tease" but know how irritating it can get if it goes on for days.
Anyway, lets get the back glued up, sap in the centre:
Then smooth it down with those sharp thingies luthiers use:
Right. What about two backstrips?!
Glue 'em in...
Job done!
So now I've got both - a backstrip and sap right across. What a nice little detail.
The guy is a genius.
