I just did a little research on these, as I hadn't seen them before. Both of those shown will pass phantom power, so they can be used with condenser mics. The AT has a balance control and the Palmer, so it appears, does not. The AT has been discontinued but is still available.

This does seem to be the simplest way to solve the OP's problem.
