Default Zoom H5 vs two large diaphragm mics

Two raw recordings, no eq or gain adjustments at all.

MXL 990 at the headstock, back about 12-15" pointing at the fretboard and the AT 2035 at the lower bout about 18-20" back from the bridge at an angle and pointing at the soundhole. The input volume for the mics was 4.5:

Zoom H5 at the same position of the AT 2035 above, but closer by about 4-5". The input volume was 5.75.

To my ears the spaced pair has more clarity, but I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks.
