Yes - I had a J45 and a L00 - both had the "Pingy" sitar sounds on the B and E strings and it turned out it was the nut on both. It developed AFTER I played and bought the guitars. I'm afraid to purchase another Gibson acoustic because of it.

I have a few upper Epiphones masterbilts that dont have that problem.
