So, this arrived yesterday and after attaching it and adjusting it, I would say it helps quite a bit. It is better than using my strap and you can adjust it easier for where you want the guitar and the neck. I can see it taking me about 6-10 hours to get totally adjusted to it but I would suggest it to anyone having issues similar to mine. It certainly makes playing my dreadnoughts much easier.
