Do tell us more about your 717 experience, Dave! The shop near me wants a deposit to order one and join the line....guess it will be a while before I try one off a wall.
I did a search on the ES2 with TD and the results seem generally good. By the way, I still have my Martin Retro D18 and the sound is good still but a bit ‘cardboard’...after the TD stuff and Maton stuff.
