Actually I didn't know the bookshop was there until I stumbled into it. I remember visiting Dartmouth sometime in the 1980s, walking into the bookshop, and wondering why they had so many copies of books by Christopher Milne for sale. So I took a look at one, put two and two together, realised that 'Christopher Milne' was Christopher Robin Milne, and that this chap here in front of me was Christopher Robin himself. Strange experience. I bought all three volumes of course!
One other thing I didn't know, Christopher's original toys that became the characters are on display at the New York Public Library. They note 3/4 of a million people still visit the displays each year.

In other British artifacts, I did visit the "Lions of Tsabo" at the Field Museum in Chicago.
