This is a terrific thread, I love the pics and discussion of the headstock joint.
I'm still wondering how you get such a tight fit in the back of the headstock, where there is nothing to hide it. Is that the same joint as on old Martins, and some classicals?
Cole Clarke do a nice headstock joint in a similar style, but it is all CNC.
