Yes, the guitar was built in 2009. I was given a chance to select the tonewoods by the president of Breedlove at the time. I believe his name was Pete Newport. I'll add a photo of the Koa that I chose.
As I stated in my listing, the guitar has not had much play time because I thought it was "too good" for me. So it has been sitting in the Deluxe case waiting for me to make it available to a player.
