Hi Ipa53!
Thanks for your comments and for listening.
Regarding my recording method, these days I am using 3 cameras plus I am recording the audio separately with 3 good condenser mics going to my computer using Steinberg Cubase. At the beginning of all of the recordings after everything is turned on and recording, I make a hand clap so that I have some sudden transient that I can use for synchronizing everything.
I use Adobe Premier Elements to put everything together. In that program I can cut each video recording at the beginning of the hand clap. Then I can add the audio track, which I also cut in Cubase right at the beginning of the hand clap. After everything is synchronized to the hand clap, I then delete all the audio from the video recorder tracks, which sounds relatively low-fi compared to using very good mics and Cubase.
With this particular video with all the edits and fades and pans and zooms, it took a couple of hours to do the programming and rendering of the program to make the final video.
I hope all that makes sense.
Regards,
Glenn
