Good call Glenn. I've run Elixir nanowebs on most of my Taylors but have been a huge fan of EJ16s for most of my adult life. It's hard to beat them for consistency and tone, even though they wear out much sooner than coated strings. I recall back in the day having to change them mid week when playing out a lot. This was likely due to the dreaded combination of sweat and loads of cigarette smoke.

I have 11 instruments on which I change strings, so now prefer coated strings to cut down on the frequency of changes!
