I already tried adjusting the hex screws but the sound is still the same. With strumming it gets pretty harsh and icepicky. The only way i found to dial it out is engage a low pass filter around 8kHz or turning the tone knob on the guitar fully counter clockwise then slowly dialing it back in until the high end comes back which is around 8 o’clock.

The guitar btw is a GS mini-e walnut. And im comparing it with the regular ES-2 in my 214ce. In the regular ES-2, i just leave everything flat and it sounds nice. A different experience with the ES-B.

My 2016 Taylor GS Mini-e Koa had the last of the "real full-size" ES2 system preamps and I swear I could have used it to play out professionally were I still doing so.
