The Ebony/Maple/ABW lines are meant to reference the 5-ply body bindings. The only difference is the body bindings alternate with Pernambuco and the rosette alternates with Maple. I wanted the rosette and bindings to have a very cohesive and bold, yet understated look. A nod to tradition, but something a little different as well. The dose of black color in the rosette will also reference other elements in the guitar, as time will tell.
