No direct experience with the RS Vintage dread - yet! I'm looking for one with a short scale neck but coming up short so I'm seriously considering ordering a custom one as RainSong will do a short scale neck on any guitar at no extra charge. But you will have to wait 8-12 weeks at last check.
I do have direct experience with the RainSong Nashville OM Shorty that I can attest is a wonderful instrument. It has quickly become my go-to instrument and could easily be my one-and-only if I decided to go that route. It ticks all the boxes for my needs.
