Okay reverb guys:
I finally got around to taking down the chassis, cleaning the pots and switches and soldered in the RCA cables. I have the reverb unit with the correct impedance, but it is slightly too long to fit into the original position. This gives me two mounting choices; I can mount it on the side vertically or horizontally which would place one end of it very close to the speaker magnet.
Any experience and knowledge that can help this decision is greatly appreciated.
Edit:
Some research uncovered that the one I bought is supposed to be mounted horizontal, open side down. What happens if it is close to the speaker magnet?
