Default A guitar I built for my Father in Law

Here are final pictures of a L-00 I built for my Father in Law this past summer. It was a present for his 60th birthday. I had each of the kids (his kids) and grandkids come into the shop and "help" with different aspects of the construction. Some of the grandkids helped glue on the liners, some helped shape some of the braces. One of my BIL's made the bridge while the other installed the tuners and help with the nut and saddle and initial set up. It was a lot of fun having each person in the shop to help build this special guitar. You can see more pictures of the "build" and birthday surprise (it was a total surprise) here on my wife's website

Here are the specs:
Cuban Mahogany b&s and rosette
Adi Spruce top
One piece Honduran Mahogany neck w/ CF reinforcing bars (double action truss rod too)
Tassmania Blackwood fretboard, bridge, headstock veneer, heel cap, bindings, tail wedge and truss rod cover.
Finish is EMTech 6000 waterbased lacquer sprayed by me and hand buffed.

This is guitar #8 for me.

All the pictures were taken by my wife a couple days ago. She's a budding photographer and I think she did an incredible job.

On to the pics, enjoy.
