This beauty looks, feels, and sounds great! It's very comfortable to play. The short scales makes it great for fingerstyle. The sitka over maple gives it a bright/snappy sound. Sounds great both plugged in or unplugged. The top has a noticeable ding/depression near the bass edge of the lower bout (see picture). (The player's arm covers it, making it a lot less noticeable.) It was there when I purchased the guitar. There are also a couple tiny flaws in the binding--very minor (see pictures). FWIW, all my guitar friends, both young and old, that have played this guitar, WANT it...but can't afford it. I'm looking for a rosewood concert guitar or else I would keep this one. If you like maple acoustics, you will not be disappointed.
