As I was cutting out a ziricote end graft(with sapwood of course) I saw a scrap from when I trimmed the sides and had this idea! I am very happy with the look and thanks for commenting on it.
The rosette is walnut burl. I used because it had orange in it like the limba. Another of my favorite features on this guitar!

It sounds like a hand built guitar should...which is to say it sounds great. Better than a store bought, factory made guitar. And despite my awful playing and cheap recording gear, I think you will like it's sound. Stay tuned for a clip!
Black limba is pretty common but black limba with these orange streaks is not. It works like mahogany and feels like mahogany. As such if I had to classify it, it sounds like a 'hog guitar. I wish I had 50 more sets like this but I don't. I have only seen a few and foolishly didn't buy them all! My loss. I hope my sound clip does this baby justice.
