Since the OP is surprised that 9 of 10 guitars were out of tune, then I’m not surprised that he may have traced this down to “Gibson horrible nuts” being part of the problem.
Along with exposing the out of control, out of tune problem, he deserves a vote of thanks for revealing his findings.
