I wear reading glasses so I need a good viewfinder as I can't just glance at the rear screen. Yesterday I thought the camera was broken. I couldn't get it to focus on anything. Cleaned it, turned it off and on.
Finally I noticed the 'diopter adjustment dial' for the viewfinder was not in the correct position for me - must have bumped it when I packed the camera last - I re-adjusted it and everything came back into focus.
Lesson learned!

Cool. That's fine. That is almost the entire reason I got Sony a7iii... for the HDR 4k video.
Those are features of the camera sound cool. The 3 different depth of focus and combining is known as focal stacking. It's great for macro shots.
