I can honestly say a couple of short years ago I knew zip about wood binding on acoustics. I would (wood) have got very different binding on my custom made acoustic if I had known. I noticed wood binding after getting my Lowden S35 and then..oh oh..
With the release of the new Martin Deluxe with wood binding, I think I am not alone....maybe a new 'craze' coming? I don't know how I could play another guitar with plastic on it after owning these!
I suppose there is a catch, apart from price?
