The Fiddleback Tree certainly does deserve it’s celebrity tree status. A lot of old time wood guys are saying they have never seen better fiddleback figure so I feel fortunate to have gotten a couple of the better sets before they were all gone!
The cedar on Indian Rosewood on a small jumbo (or any model) is a great combination. It doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Some of the best sounding guitars I have ever made, regardless of woods, have been cede on Indian Rosewood.
I have to say you do a fine job with it too. It was great to hear it in your hands at Woodstock,
