Silk & Steels are great for getting a warmer tone from a bright sounding guitar - they feel nice on the fingers too but the recordings you've done with your Avalon don't come across as a guitar needing a warm string to tame brightness.
The guitar sounds very good.
The Silk & Bronze however are quite different to Silk & Steels - feel and sound much more like a PB string ... but warmer.
12's in a Silk & Bronze should sound great on that guitar but you might notice a slight drop in volume as they settle in compared to PB's.
