Ok, day one is fully under way. Here's what I'm doing currently...



Nothing like the boss being gone to really turn up those feelings of responsibility and work ethic. Anyone have some cookies to share?

Actually, like I said, today is primarily a parts day trying to prepare for this wonderful creation you're designing. I'll have some more votes coming soon on more aesthetic choices, but for now, I'm ending the body depth vote as it seems that the Manzer wedge approach is pulling away. That should be a fun experiment. Keep voting on scale length. For now, let's consider this a 14 fretter. OM's don't easily accommodate 12 frets without some adjustments that will slow the build. Fan frets are great, but I just checked, and you're not paying me quite enough to up this C&D model to multiscale.

Here's the back and sides cut to shape before bracing/bending.
