Congrats!
I had bought a used D-120ce and the tuners were a little loose on it also. I had replaced the tuners on my Gibson J-45 when I bought it and I discovered that the Gibson tuners were a straight drop-in replacement for the Guild tuners. My Guild D-120 stays in dadgad and other lower tunings. Al's Sligo Creek is a fun one to learn.
Happy birthday too!
