I picked this one up locally about a month ago as a bit of a project. Built in 1981. It was a good solid guitar, just needed a new pick guard, a good cleaning and a set up. Gorgeous spruce top in good shape, and nice striped mahogany b/s.
So here she is, all cleaned up and sporting a new Holter pick guard, which is really nice. Thanks again, Taylor!

I also bought a new case for it.
I've had several Yairis, and really like their necks. They generally have a 1 11/16" nut with a lot of wood underneath, making for a good, chunky feel. But this one has what is probably the fattest neck I've ever played on a Yairi, and I love it!
