Absolutely, and if used prudently, it's kinda handy. FX are like spices...often, a little goes a long way.
guitar -> wah-> overdrive -> compressor-> tremolo -> vibrato -> phaser -> flanger -> chorus -> digital delay - amp or PA, depending on how loud the
drummer du jour is.
I only use my pedal board for trio gigs...solo, the PA's built-in reverb, barely noticable, is plenty.
