It surprised me that you need to have the drivers separate. But it makes sense. So on Mac you would use CoreAudio for everything or does it also need to be somehow separated?
Yes on a Mac CoreAudio for everything. There doesn't seem to be a problem with multiple apps sharing the audio output.
