The only 12-string I owned was a '60s Eko Ranger XII (bought used in the 1960s), and I loved it. Flatpicked tunes especially sounded good on it. I have considered another but I wonder just how much use it would get after the lovely jangly novelty wears off.
I've heard a couple of demos of the Guild F2512 which sound pretty good.
