My first guitar was an electric. It was a used GTX bolt-on Les Paul copy. Good tone, sure. Horrible action due to a very poorly planed fingerboard and putting frets on top of the lumps on the fingerboard. The funny thing is that it corralled me towards metal/shred and boutique guitars because I wanted the lowest possible action after my entry level guitars.
