Had some friends from Belgium visiting and took them to the Joint or Whiskey Junction in Minneapolis Minnesota to see a Van Morrison tribute band called The Belfast Cowboys.
They were very entertaining up to a certain point in the evening where they all seemed very drunk.
I remember thinking as they shot off into some long jam that was more or less unrelated to the song how bizarre the music was.
Good or bad is a judgment call but it seemed messy imo.
I never performed and don’t drink anymore, it’s an age thing I guess but I still enjoyed the performance but realized that drinking musicians are likely not as good as their sober counterparts.
