If the stock neck scale, width, and profile work for you, the only other consideration might be the pickup. It's not a contest to see who can get the most custom stuff, it's all about getting the guitar that is just right for you. I haven't gotten my hands on an X30 yet, but from what I hear and read, there is so much to like just the way it is.
