Default unknown adventure

Hi folks,
new adventures sometimes offer some surprise. So Thomas made the experience that the real nice looking of flat sawn sides could cause some trouble by bending.

He usually uses only a hot tube for bending but the result were wonderful sides which decided to have their own forming after about 12 hours with a lot of buckles in all directions. So he bended in forms, but the result was the same. Only after the use of a added heating-pad in the revised form the result were perfect bended sides of a unbelievable hard tonewood with no name looking similar to macassar and bought as a Indian ebony.

I hope my english could describe that elaborated procedure.
all the best
