I got a De Havilland swamp ash body and the second I unpacked it I knew that it's weight (8lbs+) wasn't going to cut it. My genius tech friend, Mark Arnquist, ran the back of it through a thickness sander about 1/4" worth then proceeded to rout out chambers. He put in a tummy cut and forearm bevel as well. I found another piece of swamp ash that had unusual grain which he bookmatched. A set of Joe Barden "Danny Gatton" pickups and it was good to go.

*note* I'd love to post pics but they're all in my files, not attached to a url. Can't seem to figure out a way to get them from there to here.

Not a Warmoth neck, Musician’s Friend special, came from the vender with the rosewood neck (though it’s entirely possibly the neck actually comes from Warmoth). The easiest way to upload photos is from the app, but requires a subscription membership to the forum.
