Tim, that would be interesting, but really Steve and I have been struggling to break into the bespoke door hold industry for a while. We think custom lutherie is exacting, but those guys are so picky. You would think that taper, glide, and weight is all there is to it, but hand feel, shoed/unshoed/type of shoe, classic brass pulls versus modern chrome finishes, oiled wood or natural...it's a whole rabbit hole I won't go into. Just don't make the mistake on one of their forums saying "door stopper" or "door stop" or "door wedge" or "DOOR HOLDER!" Remember it's just a simple door hold. Simple...right.
