I like it, nice folksy sound. I have an old stella tenor, but I really want a banjo...at one stage I wondered if I could add an extra string somehow...
I now have a banjo coming for my 60th so fortunately for my tenor that plan will never happen. But this seems like a fun idea. Is there a precedent or is it something you just thought up?
I notice you have a high string on the top but it isn't short, like a banjo's. What tuning are you using?
